Where the Wild Things Are {Cake Smash}

I love fun themes like this little guys first birthday cake smash! His mom had so many fun 'Where The Wild Things Are,' themed props! I especially loved the feather crown that we hung over the scene! 

I rarely get kids who really like to play in the cake...but not this guy! The cake was pretty much gone by the time we were done with the session! I loved it!!

{The W Family}

I loved this session so much for so many reasons! I had a location I have been wanting to use for a long time, however, it took a particular type of family to be able to walk the entire trail. The W Family was perfect and just so fun to work with!

We had to reschedule this session twice due to weather, and then ended up having the most beautiful autumn day :)

I hope this family had a memorable Thanksgiving together this year :)

The Dodds {Families}

Another fun family in the beautiful Washington fall weather! We walked all around the park, found some "swords" (aka sticks), and played in the leaves! 

Little miss is also celebrating her first birthday :)

The Calverts {Families}

This family was so amazing to work with and the weather pulled through and gave us some nice, crisp fall air that fit perfectly with our location!

My absolute favorite is the daddy/daughter shot...it is such a natural candid and she was beaming at her daddy making her laugh!

The Connollys {Families}

So much I love about this session....Dad who recently returned home from a deployment and a new babe has joined their family! 

I have to give some major kudos to what an amazing subject 4 year old Tristan was...usually 4 year old boys give me a run for my money, but all I had to do with Tristan was to tell him to smile like daddy :) Such a little gentleman!

The Bluestones {Families}

The Puget Sound gave me some beautiful light last week for this family session! I could not get over how fun these two kiddos were...little miss was full of sass and her older brother was so sweet!

Such a fun and sweet family :) I love when personality shines through in photos!
